Deadly Beauty
"Uh Koenma sir," Jorge, the blue ogre said, shoving his elbow into his boss's head.
This caused the pint sized ruler of Spirit World to throw down his food in a rage and promptly slap his assistant.
"What do want now ogre, can't you see I'm busy?"
Jorge sat up slowly, wiping a tear from his eye. "All you were doing is eating sir," he said, mostly to himself.
"What!" Koenma yelled in his face. Jorge jumped up off of the floor and began pointing out the window to the ring below.
Koemna stormed over and looked down. "Oh my," he said, obviuosly startled, "Who are they?"
"This is what I've been trying to tell you sir," Ogre sighed, Toguro has introduced an all female team. They're fighting an exhibition match."
"The Tournament Committee has agreed to this?" Koenma was suspicious,"I've never heard of any exhibition matches during the Dark Tournament, and believe me, I've been to nearly all these things."
"They agreed already sir."
"That Toguro, he and Sakyo have this whole tournament under their thumbs." Koenma sighed, regaining his seat and immediatly refilling his empty plate. "All those girls are quite nice to look at though, what's their teams name?"
"Team Chaos sir, the other team are called Tekiate."
"Very good Ogre, now move, I've got to see these ladies in action. After all,I may want to purchase this team for the next tournament. That's obviously what Toguro is planning if he's bribed the committee into allowing the fight."
Jorge reluctantly stepped aside, "By the way sir, my tummy's feeling much better now, I don't need to go."
Koenma rolled his eyes,"Lovely Ogre, I am trying to eat here."
The leader of Tekiate lumbered into the ring.
Jayba looked over at him and giggled.
"You laughin at me bitch?" he growled. motioning his huge club towards the red head.
"Why yes I am." she said smiling.
"It is decided, Team Tekiate will fight against Toguro's Team Chaos! This fight will follow all normal tournament rules. Now on to the action! Round one, Jayba versus Shishu, begin!"
The ugly team leader grinned wickedly, "I'm really gonna enjoy this." he said, raising his spiked club into the air and bellowing his challenge.
The dark skinned demon ess merely continued to smile at her foolish opponent while her body became aglow with a sparkling green aura.
Shishui immediatly froze, his fierce battle cry ending in a barely audible squeak. The huge weapon he had been waving over his head was now buried in it.
The demon's dead body fell, it's skull and brains splattered onto the ring floor.
Jayba turned, bowed to her master then stepped from the ring.
"What the hell was that?" Yusuke yelled, stunned.
"What just happened?" Koto asked sadly, "
This gore's good; but how? We definatly have to witness this one on instant replay."
Immediatly, the big screens all over the stadium snapped on.
The replay revealed that Shishu had slammed the club into his own skull."
"He killed himself?" Kuwabara stuttered.
"No," Kurama cut in, "somehow she forced him to do it. I am unfortunatly at a loss for how she did it at the moment."
The remaining members of Team Tekiate glanced at one another uneasily.
"Now they realize the danger they're in," Hiei almost laughed, "never underestimate any opponent. But this sorry Team Tekiate can't even sense their opponents auras, they're not even a slight challange. These demon girls are probably just some mediocre fighters who's only strength lies only their master's name." he thought cynically.
"That was great," Koto spoke up after watching the replay, "I haven't the slightest idea what she just did, but the winner by death is Jayba!"
The crowd went wild, once again chanting for Toguro.
"Looks like this might be better than I thought." Yusuke said a little more interested now.
"Will the next fighters please enter the ring!" Koto said smiling,"This time, can you try and fight a bit longer for us all please?"
The cat demon with the long, blonde braid stepped up into the ring.
Kurama felt himself tense as he watched her, what was causing him to react this way he wondered. What was so familiar about her?
